Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

This Little Light of Yours, Mine, Ours

John 3:21 

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. 

Most of us don't see well in darkness and certainly don't do much activity in darkness either. It’s not until light overtakes the darkness that we can then see our way and perform our activity. This verse encourages us to live a life of God's truth that will then allow us to enter His light and reveal to the world the testimony of His work in us. 

As Kingdom Builders continues our service to the Lord through serving others our hope is that our testimony can be a light that touches the hearts of many. Giving God all the glory! 

Last month we finished up a project for a client in need of a roof, windows and repair to the underside of her home. The project was a substantial expense, but we know nothing is too big for our God. He provided just as He always does, and we and the homeowner are very thankful. The weather added a challenge, but God allowed us to persevere. 

This was another fun project with some very enjoyable coffee time and relationship building. A time full of light. Praise God! We will be on a bit of a pause until God provides for the upcoming projects. Our project list is long and we know in His time it will all come together. Thank you all for your continued prayers and financial support. May God continue to bless you and your family

During challenging times, it’s easy to feel as if our world is covered in darkness. May our first inclination be to turn to the light.

Help us to love and serve in ways that reflect God’s light.
