I went to a phone vendor in Garrison, Port Harcourt, and I told her I was an internet marketer. I told her I wanted to resell her phones online at a commission.
So we struck a deal.
She will give me the phones at a discount, then I'll take pictures of them, add my price and resell online.
I took pictures, created a Facebook page (JD COMMUNICATIONS) and ran an ad that evening.
Buyers started springing up from all over PH and in the first week, I made N150,000. It was then I began to understand the kind of leverage Facebook ads can give you.
Since then, I have been heavily invested in ads and I've seen massive results. I have been able to sell my services to people around the world.
People in Russia, Ghana, USA, Malawi, etc. have bought my stuff because I simply ran an ad that reached them.
So the kind of leverage running ads give you is that you can earn in other currencies apart from the naira.
Also with Facebook ads, you can be omnipresent.
