Happy October!

Hey, Y’all!

Welcome to October! It’s finally Fall! I’m a little behind, but I’m still going to try to plant some fall vegetables. Hopefully, it goes better than my summer garden. This year was a big fail...Not sure what happened, but I have hope for the future. 🤞🏽

Writing Update

In the past few years of being a published writer, I’ve participated in a few anthologies. It was my honor to be asked and included, but it did present a special problem for me. I had to write short. If you’ve been with me a while, you know that isn’t something I normally do. And by write short, I mean keep it under 15K words. The struggle was extremely real during those times. However, I believe it helped me grow. Telling a complete story with fewer words is a skill not all possess. I aspire to become better at it with each story.

That being said, I’ve decided to revisit those stories and expand them from novelettes to novellas. Right now, I don’t anticipate either reaching novel status. But, I wanted to give each of them a little more depth and more time with the characters on page.

I started the journey with Just Kiss Me. Previously published as part of the Cupid’s Kiss Anthology, Just Kiss Me is Ryker Stephens and Ensley Warren’s love story. I had a wonderful time diving back into it, giving more context and background. Last week, I was able to type ‘The End’ on their story. 😳

At present, I’m scheduling their release for Mid November. As soon as I get a pre-order link, I’ll be certain to share it with you.

Serial Stories

Something else I've been considering is where to go next with writing and my serial stories. Well... The wait is over and a decision has been made. I'm stepping back into the paranormal shifter world. This time, we're going to a pack that was introduced in Healed. The Blacktooth Summit Pack, with Alpha, Jeffrey Quinlin, is going to delve into shifter life which is slightly different from what we've seen in the Central Valley Pack.

The Blacktooth Summit Pack is comprised of wolves and only wolves. Which is going to make things very interesting when they start meeting their fatal mates. I'm giggling and kicking my feet at the shenanigans to come--especially with Quinlin's mate. I'm beyond excited for y'all to meet Soraya.
