Hello, Fellow Forest Dweller,
π Reshuffling days of the week
Between trying to hit a deadline (jury's out on that one) and my energy fluctuating in the wrong direction during February, I've been treating my weekends as if they're one long Friday.
I don't work weekends unless I have to, but it felt good to push a few more words out on the last day of my work week, and then taking my time writing my newsletters with mellow weekend energy.
Which brings me to this newsletter landing in your inbox on a Monday.
My working week starts on Monday. It's what I grew up with, how my brain is wired, and how I plan. Saturday and Sunday belong to rest, fun, reading, and pretending deadlines don't exist. (until they do!)
π Read an Ebook week
Smashwords' Read an Ebook Week starts on Sunday. In the back of my mind, I absolutely knew that. And yet, I stuck to my rigid internal calendar, ignored the dates, and set the start date to Monday. To today.
So, here we are, the sale is on, the books are there, and I come bearing links.
and my non-Blaine poetry bundle is $0.99 this week.

π€― How a day off fooled my brain
I had a day off on Wednesday to join Eldest and my best friend in doing Pokemon raids. We lucked out on the weather and had a great day catching them all, even if it left me exhausted (what energy?). But when I woke up the next day, guess what day I thought it was?
Yup... Monday. I kept opening the shopping app to prepare for our next delivery, despite the hubs reminding me it was Thursday. π€¦π»
ππ» Question of the week:
What day does your week start? And does a day off throw you off kilter, too? Feel free to email me, I love to hear about your week-day-shuffle.
Until next week,
Blaine
