BLOG: What’s the best American Express cashback credit card?
You already know I'm a big fan of earning cashback on all my spending, and the best rates are with Amex, where new members can get 5% to start, then up to 1.25% afterwards.
There are two different cards available which have different rates, so I've compared the two to help you decide which is best for you.
BLOG: Spend less eating out after Eat Out to Help Out
Next Monday is the last day for the Government's subsidised restaurant discount but that doesn't mean you'll suddenly have to pay full price when eating out.
Here are a few ways you can bring down the cost of meals out.
BLOG: Ocado ditches Waitrose for M&S
From Tuesday you'll finally be able to order Marks & Spencer food online via Ocado, with the M&S range replacing Waitrose products.
I've taken a look at what this means for Waitrose fans, M&S shoppers and Ocado aficionados.
PODCAST: Cash Chats #138: Consumer pet hates with guest Matt Allwright
This week on the podcast I'm joined by TV's Matt Allwright (Watchdog, The One Show, Rogue Traders) to talk about our consumer pet hates. From ticket touts to auto-renewals, this was a really fun episode to record.
You can listen via all the normal podcasting routes, but this week you can also watch the video over on the blog.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.
Plus, it's worth following me on Instagram where I post any extra deals which come too late for the newsletter, including a" deals of the week" video update on Friday.
1. LAST CHANCE £15 bonus for new TopCashback members
If you've not used cashback site TopCashback before then you can get a £15 bonus for signing up and then spending £15 via the site.
This offer is due to end on Monday, and though it's been extended once before it's worth nabbing it now just in case it does drop back to the standard £10.
2. Give Clubcard points to charity
You can now donate your Clubcard vouchers to food poverty charities FareShare and The Trussell Trust. Sadly they aren't boosted by Tesco. Here's more.
3. 15% off £35 M&S spend
If you've got an M&S Sparks card then check your account as lots of people have a 15% off home, beauty and clothing voucher. It's not as good as the 20% we used to see and there's a £35 minimum spend but if you need to nab something this is a good option. Here's more on how Sparks works.
4. "Free" craft beer and sale
The online craft beer shop Honest Brew is celebrating its birthday this week by giving members a free Siren beer. Now, to be a member you need to add £10 to your account each month (you can pause it) and for free delivery you need to spend £50.
But you also get discounted prices and access to an exclusive sale tomorrow, and if you're new you can also get £10 off your first order. They've just added a batch of Cloudwater beers so I've put my order in!
5. Echo Plus & smart bulb for £60
Another smart speaker deal from Amazon. This one is for the Plus version which has a built-in hub to control other smart devices, including the free Philips Hue light bulb included in this package. The size of the discount (down from £140) suggests to me a new model is on the way, but that doesn't make this less of a bargain. Here's more.
6. LAST CHANCE Sainsbury's joins Tesco in 25% off wine deal stack
Last week I told you about a Tesco offer where you can get 25% off wine that be can be combined with other wine discounts to save even more. This week you can also get the same offer at Sainsbury's - better for me as I've actually got one of these in town. Both end on Monday.
7. LAST CHANCE Possible free £10 John Lewis discount
There have been mixed results for getting this offer to work, but if you've not tried it's worth a go before it officially ends on the 31st August John Lewis. Click through to get a code worth £10 to spend on anything from the home and garden departments. There's no minimum spend, though it's online only so delivery is only free if you spend £50 or more.
