Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
A brand new look for Be Clever With Your Cash!
When you click through to my articles and deals this week you'll be among the first to see the complete redesign of the site. It's been a hard slog to get here, but I'm delighted with the results.
It's faster and easier to use on mobile devices, and there's much more too. I've added in a number of features to help you find more of my content and when you do hopefully learn more and save more money too.
Do let me know what you think!
Andy

It’s time to cancel expensive Sky and Virgin TV subscriptions
If you're still paying for your TV from Sky, Virgin, BT or TalkTalk then the vast majority of you are overpaying by hundreds of pounds every year.
That's because you can get the exact same channels for far less elsewhere. And you can still receive and record standard TV. Here's how.

CASH CHATS PODCAST
As always, there are two episodes for you to listen to this week.
#191: Could you make £1,000 from cashback?
What's a realistic amount of cash you could make in a year? I took a look at ONS family spending data to find out.
(I released this episode on Tuesday before the Amex rate cut was announced, so you'd need to knock maybe £25 off the total I get to in the show).
#190: Your Money, This Week
Personal finance coach Bola Sol helps me look back at the top money news stories from the week, including:
- How many people are using Buy Now Pay Later
- Spotify price hikes
- Festival cancellations
- Abrdn's rebrand
- & more
You can listen to both via all the normal podcasting routes or over on the blog.
WEEKLY LIVE Q&A:
THURSDAY 6th May @ 6pm-6.30pm
If you want to ask me questions about the content in today's newsletter I'll be live on Instagram and on my YouTube channel this evening at 6pm - that's Thursday 6th May.
Facebook still isn't showing the stream to followers, so it might be easier to try one of the other options again this week.
THIS WEEK'S DEALS
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the titles or links for more information.
I've also set up an extra Instagram account dedicated to the flash sales, deals and short-lived offers I spot throughout the week. Do follow me there so you don't miss out on offers that are already finished by the time this email goes out on a Thursday.
1. LNER: Free £5 train travel credit
If you're starting to think about moving around the country then this offer can take a fiver off any train journey - as long as it's booked via the LNER app.
2. HSBC: £145 switch bonus ends Sunday
Your last chance to get the £125 cash and £20 Uber Eats voucher offer from HSBC. More details on this and other switching offers here.
3. Deliveroo: £10 back each month
Anyone with an Amex Preferred Rewards Gold card will be able to get two lots fo £5 back every month when they order via Deliveroo.
4. Sky Sports: £25 a month
With the football season wrapping up over the next couple of weeks, there's an offer to get three months of Sky Sports on NOW for £25 a month (rather than £33.99). You can cancel after one or two months if you want.
5. My top deals
As part of the redesign I've created a new super post, which will have my favourite ongoing offers and deals listed. I've added about five so far, but will keep putting more on there.
Do check it out, and give the new deals section of the site a whirl too. I've added filters and previews so you can find the offers you want.
