“Mini-Budget” 2022 Scrapped: What it means for your money
On Monday the new Chancellor ripped up last month's mini-Budget, axing some of the planned tax cuts and making a big change to the energy cap freeze. Here's my updated article and video on what's staying and what's going.
Waitrose brings back “free” hot drinks
If you regularly buy a tea or coffee when out and about, the return of this offer could be a big money saver. I've explained how it works, and shared a trick so you could (if you really wanted) qualify for the deal with just a 1p spend.
Amex's Gold credit card just got better
There's been a big change in how many points you can earn from spending on the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold credit card. Thanks to a new bonus system, it's possible to earn the equivalent of up to 1.2% cashback on the card - making it the best one out there. Here's my updated review, and details of why you'll only want to keep it for a year.
Is Three forcing existing customers to lose free roaming?
Potentially bad news for anyone with Three on the old terms that allow free roaming in the EU and beyond - you could soon be forced to switch to a new deal. Here's what you need to know.

THIS WEEK'S TOP DEALS
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the titles or links for more information.
I'll also share a quick update on Instagram on Saturday morning.
1. BT TV: £6pm for Netflix, NOW Entertainment & a Freeview recorder
This very tempting deal from BT is back. Pay just £6 a month for basic Netflix, NOW Entertainment and a box to watch and record Freeview. It’s a 24-month contract, though, and you have to either already be a BT Broadband customer, or sign up (this might not be the cheapest option out there) to be eligible. More here.
2. Amazon: £5 off £15 spend
Some Amazon customers will be able to get £5 off items sold direct by Amazon - though as ever only use the deal if there's something you actually need. More here.
3. Amazon Fresh: £5 off
Another Amazon deal, this one offering a free fiver to spend at Amazon's supermarket. More here.
4. Cinemas: 40% off Vue, Odeon & more
The free Lidl+ app doesn't just give vouchers for the supermarket. You can also get free access to the Cinema Society, with savings of up to 40% at major chains and movie rentals. Here's more.
5. Sky Sports: £19.99 a month for six months
Previous NOW TV customers who've had Sky Sports should check their emails and account to see if they can get this heavily discounted offer - though bear in mind the World Cup next month will mean there's less football on Sky during this time. More here.
6. Wine: 25% off at Asda, Sainsbury's & Tesco
If you need to stock up on wine, then this offer is back at the supermarket. Remember to see if there are other discounts on bottles you can stack to save even more. More here.

If you want to get the £175 from RBS, you've only got until 5pm today. Though don't worry if you miss it as the exact same deal is running for a little longer with Natwest. Sadly you can't get both of these. More on the RBS deal here.

The bad news is last week's 2.75% easy-access account from Santander has been withdrawn early. But existing Cynergy account holders can still get this same rate, and you should be able to open one of their other accounts to qualify.
