Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top content this week
BLOG: Furlough extended until March 2021
Hot off the press is this news about a further extension to the Job Retention Support Scheme (I think the Chancellor must know I send this newsletter on a Thursday lunchtime!).
There's also information about the proposals to extend payment holidays for mortgages and other credit.
BLOG: Cashback credit card hacks
I'm a big fan of using cashback credit cards to passively earn while you spend - as long as you are confident managing them.
But the 0.25% to 1% you get for each pound you spend aren't the only ways to earn from them. Here are my tips and tricks to help you maximise the return you get.
BLOG: The #FoodbankAdvent challenge
It's that time of year again where I'm taking part in the #FoodbankAdvent challenge to help fight food poverty. It's really easy to get involved in building a donation for those who can't afford to feed themselves. Here's more about how it works and how you can join in.
BLOG: Christmas supermarket delivery slot details
Some supermarkets have already opened up bookings for Christmas grocery delivery - and they're going fast! Here's the latest on when each one will start - and ways to get them before others.
PODCAST: Cash Chats #148: Lockdown 2 and your money
Furlough is back, along with some payment holidays, so in this week's episode I've looked at how these measures will work. Make sure you also read the new article at the top of this newsletter for some updates since I recorded it on Wednesday.
Plus I also look at some things to think about with your spending while you're in lockdown, such as how to support small retailers in the run up to Christmas.
You can listen via all the normal podcasting routes or over on the blog.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the titles or links for more information.
I've also set up an extra Instagram account dedicated to the deals and offers I spot throughout the week. Do follow me there so you don't miss out on offers that are already finished by the time this email goes out on a Thursday.
1. LAST CHANCE: £100 Lloyds switch
You've got until Monday to grab £100 for moving your bank to Lloyds. You can also take advantage of a "lifestyle benefit" for a year, including a magazine subscription or movie rentals. Here's more on the Club Lloyds account.
2. £1 off at M&S with app
If you use the Pay Go feature to spend under £30 at M&S you not only avoid queues at the checkout, but there's a code you can enter to get £1 off. Obviously right now this'll just be in the food part of the store.
3. Save 15% at eBay stores
You can get up 15% off a huge list of retailers at eBay. It includes toy stores like The Entertainer, electrical outlets such as Crampton and Moore, and fashion brands such as Oliver Bonus. I've spotted some cool jigsaws to get me through lockdown!
4. Fire TV and Kindle discounts
Early Black Friday offers are already running at Amazon, with decent discounts available on Fire TV devices and the standard Kindle. Other retailers have price matched too. It might be worth waiting to see if prices come down again, but if you need something now it's a decent discount.
5. 25% off 6+ bottles of wine
Another supermarket has the 25% off promo when you buy at least six bottles. This time it's Waitrose.
Plus, if you've got Nectar points, don't forget the Double Up deal begins next Wednesday for Taste the Difference bottles.
Here's more on both these offers.
6. Argos: 5x Nectar points this week
If you have anything to buy from Argos (like I did last week!), then this could be a good time to nab it as you can get the equivalent of 2.5% back in Nectar points. Here's more on the best ways to collect and spend the points.
