Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
"Apologies for the lack of a newsletter last week. I was, no doubt like many of you, struck down by a nasty bug that's doing the rounds. Still even in my sick bed I was saving cash by avoiding branded medications. I've written below about what to look for so you can spend less on getting better. Also, news this week on stopping misleading hotel booking websites and the rules for whether you need a TV licence or not."

My top articles this week
1. The ways hotel booking sites could mislead you
New rules will force some of the big hotel booking websites to stop some dodgy practices which could be costing you more money. But these don't come into force until September, and it's not currently across the whole industry, so I've shared what you need to look out for so you don't get misled.
2. Why you’re paying too much for medication
If you're reaching for branded painkillers and other over the counter meds then there's a good chance you're overpaying. Budget options generally do exactly the same job - and they might even be exactly the same products! Here's how you can compare different products, plus how to save on prescriptions.
3. Should you ditch the TV Licence for other TV, radio and online services?
The TV Licence will go up by £4 later this year, bringing the monthly cost close to £13 a month. With streaming services often cheaper, I've taken a look at when you can cancel your TV Licence - and whether you should.
4. Valentine's Day flower offers
I've found a few deals to save an extra 10% or so from the likes of Bunches and Interflora.
5. Increased M&S Bank switching offer
You can now get £220 worth of Marks and Spencer vouchers over 12 months if you switch your bank account. You'll get the first £100 when you move over, and another £120 after a year.
