I've recently discovered this trick to get a decent saving on Amazon e-gift cards, and the beauty is there's no limit to the number you can buy. The gift cards are valid for 10 years too so there's plenty of time to spend any you get.

Lots of stores are making their final reductions in their sales, and one of the most popular each year is at Boots, where Christmas gift sets and more are knocked down to 70% off. This is expected to begin this Friday, and stock won't last long.

2. Everything at Paper Tiger £2 or less

Value Danish homeware shop Paper Tiger is cutting the price of everything in store to a maximum of £2 from today until Sunday. See if there's a shop near you.

3. Echo Dot for £29.99

Another price-cut for Amazon's smaller smart speaker. It's a good price if you want to give it a go. I've got a couple which I use as a cheaper alternative to multi-room speakers such as Sonos.
