The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value - and here they are for you too. First some newbies in a bit more detail, then some you might have missed from previous weeks. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.
1. Last chance to swap Clubcard points for cheap train travel
As I wrote a few weeks ago, my top pick for using your Tesco Clubcard points is to exchange them for vouchers to use on train booking website Red Spotted Hanky. You get triple value, so every 50p you have in points is worth £1.50 towards rail tickets. BUT this ends on the 31st of January so you need to swap now. Any Red Spotted Hanky vouchers you get will be valid for six months.
2. Huge digital movie sale, including 4K titles to keep for £2.99
I've never heard of Mega Movie Week, but the likes of Amazon, Google Play, Rakuten and iTunes are all taking part in this online sale, offering films to keep for very low prices, including brand new titles such as Oscar nominated Black k Klansman and the popular Mama Mia sequel, both at £2.99. There are also 4K titles available such as Blade Runner 2049. I've also a trick to get them even cheaper via the streaming service Chili.
3. Free burger or cheeseburger at McDonalds
Until Friday you can pick up a free burger at Maccy D's. You just need to download their app to claim the burger in store.
4. Free Tastecard for 30 days
This a good chance to give Tastecard a go, as you can get 30 days for free. You can use it to get 2-4-1 meals out and up to 40% off at the cinema.
5. Save 4% at Amazon every time
I featured this trick to get a decent saving on Amazon e-gift cards last week, and the deal was pulled a few days later! Very annoying. But it's now back, so it's worth a look if you didn't get a chance to take advantage.
