Do you feel like you're climbing a mountain known as your business?⁠ ⁠ I think every business owner feels that way from time to time.⁠ ⁠ When I read this passage by Joseph Goldstein from his book, ??? ?????????? ?? ???????, it struck me how closely it relates to starting and running a business. The context of the passage relates to meditation practice.⁠ ⁠ At the beginning of a new business, or launching a new product or service, you may not feel very strong...there's a lot you may not know or have little experience with.⁠ ⁠ However, as you experiment and learn and get coached or mentored, the stronger you get. The easier it is to take each step.⁠ ⁠ Does that ring true for you?⁠ ⁠ In my consulting business, I've been creating and evolving for over 20 years and there's almost always a point where it feels hard and uncomfortable. Her name is Bonnie and she's 4 months old. I'm more of a cat person, yet Bonnie was so sweet and cute! It was a pleasure playing with her while her humans had to go inside to order their food.⁠ ⁠ Seeing this picture on my phone today, gave me pleasure, remembering my morning hike with friends and meeting Bonnie. ?⁠ ⁠ Being grateful for the small pleasures in life makes all the crappy covid related stuff we're dealing with, a little easier to bear.⁠ ⁠ ?
