O Happy Day! Yes, getting a new piece of art makes me very happy and this lovely mixed media landscape is by @jaimebyrd ? check out her work! . This painting is called “A Good Walk" and is inspired by the artist's Camino de Santiago walk in southern France. It's 12" x 12". . It was offered through the #artistsupportpledge pay it forward movement where artists from all over the world offer works of art for no more than $200/200 Euros (see info at the end of the post and follow the hashtag to see some great works of art!) . I've seen many artworks I really liked, but they were always sold. Fortunately, I saw this painting right after it was posted on IG. Great timing! . This is a fantastic movement to support artists and build a collection. ? . . . . . . . ARTIST SUPPORT PLEDGE: Due to the Covid19, many artists are suddenly without work - teaching, exhibitions, and sales have disappeared. In an attempt to alleviate some of this, the Artist Support Pledge was instigated. The concept is simple. artists offer artwork for 200 or less. Anyone can purchase the artwork, and every time an artists reaches 1000, they pledge to buy another artist's work of 200. This puts artwork in your hands at affordable prices and supports artists in a pay-it-forward movement. Thank you for your generosity and support! You are helping to keep artists afloat. We are all in this together. . . . #painting #landscapepainting #acrylicpainting #art #artwork #caminodesantiago #landscape #saturdayvibes #makesmehappy
What's the last thing you did that was outside your comfort zone? . I think of myself as someone who cannot grow plants very well. I either over water or under water and usually they're dead before I know it. , Curiosity and experimentation are key aspects of my personality so when we were discussing superfoods and microgreens in the Fast Factor Circle group I run with @sellenbritt I decided to give it a try and grow broccoli microgreens. , And look! 6 days in and they are thriving! ? . Like any part of your life and business, unless you try, you just won't know if trying something new will work (or not). And if it's doesn't, so what? At least you tried. . What's outside of your comfort zone? What's something new you'll try this week? I'm rooting for your success! , , , , , #microgreens #superfoods #intermittentfasting #thefastfactor
Does that put a smile on your face? ☺️ . I love finding inspiration anywhere and everywhere, even on the sidewalk. . Spotted near Chinatown in downtown Los Angeles as I walked to meet up with friends at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. . #MadeMyDay . Irina Leoni is a branding portrait photographer and a master at shaking things up. From moving halfway across the world from her home country, and then later in life - a full 180-degree switch from a cushy technology career (and a hard-earned science degree) - to being a creative for a living. And those are just the big ones. I recently started reading ??? ??? ????? by Gary Keller and @jaypapasan. It's the Business Book Club selection for the Marketing Trailblazers Community this month. . This quote/concept is so clean. And a duh moment. Of course, step by step you get to your destination (just like trekking in the Andes!) . Focus on your goal, your quest, the outcome you want, and put one foot in front of the other. No multi-tasking (guilty!). . When I host Get It Done Days, this is what makes them so powerful. We focus on one thing at a time to get it done before moving on to the next thing. Maybe that's why this resonates with me so much. (I'm hosting the next Get It Done Day on June 30. DM me if you would like details and info) #theonething #marketingtrailblazers #stayfocused
Today's quote in ??? ????? ????? matches my belief and where I'm leaning in today... . "Well-being is realized by small steps, but is truly no small thing." ~Zeno, quoted in Diogenes Laertius, Lives of the Eminent Philosophers . I also wear a charm on a necklace that says "one step at a time" reflecting not only my journey when I started running and trekking over a decade ago but also how I look at getting most things done. . During this time of #saferathome my rollercoaster emotions have made taking small steps more important than ever to maintain business, relationships and momentum forward. Small steps keep me on an even keel. . What small steps are you taking during this time when things may feel weird and out of control? . . . ? Photo by Ev on @Unsplash

I started today. My fave meditation teacher. #Repost @corymuscara ・・・ [21 DAYS OF LIVE MEDITATIONS] Starting this Tuesday, May 5th, I'll be offering LIVE daily meditations on Instagram and Facebook for 21 days. We'll explore practices related to mindfulness, focus, compassion, lovingkindness, and more. Each session will be 20 minutes. Many people have been struggling to maintain healthy habits and routines during the quarantine. These daily meditations are not only an opportunity to start your day with clarity, groundedness, structure, and intention, but they also serve as a space to process and release the accumulated stress of the previous day. If you've been looking to start a meditation practice, this is your chance! If you've been looking for a community to practice with, this is also your chance. People practice meditation for different reasons: >Self-care >Improve focus >Reduce stress>Find inner peace >Process trauma >Longevity >Mental fitness >Connect with God All of these are great reasons to give meditation a shot, and you never know where it will take you. Heck, I started meditating to impress a girl, and a year later I was living as a monk with a shaved head. (don't worry, that won't happen to you; I'm weird) At the end of the day, meditation practice helps us find clarity within the noisiness of life, and it develops our mind and heart in such a way that we become better humans for our work, our family, our communities, and our world. I'd love for you to join me over the next 21 days. Tag a few friends or family members who you think might be interested ??? See you soon! p.s. make sure you’re following me @corymuscara and turn on post notifications so you know when we go live each day ?
