Last month I sold books at Emerald City Comic Con, one of the largest comic cons in the US, and it was amazing. Not only did I get to meet a ton of readers and fellow authors, but I was able to connect with a ton of new readers and sell lots of books. A big part of the success was the beautiful new convention edition of the Threadlight trilogy, which attracted a lot of attention. I even sold copies to Matt Dinniman (Dungeon Crawler Carl) and Jeff Hayes (DCC narrator)! Fun fact...my mom was visiting the booth when Jeff bought his and he had her sign it as well. I think it made her life.

The book is truly a work of art. And while I'm committed (for now) to only sell them in-person, I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway with each newsletter this year!
