Hey nerds!

Lots of great stuff to share with you today, including the fact that the ebooks for Voice of War, Stones of Light, and Bonds of Chaos are all on sale right now for $0.99c each! It's the perfect time to finish the trilogy, which would also help me reach my goals of 1000 ratings on GoodReads for book 3! This is part of two different sales. Highly encourage you to check all of the amazing books: SPFBO Finalist Sale 2025 + Narratess Indie April Sale.

Now what's the deal with that email headline?

Last month I sold books at Emerald City Comic Con, one of the largest comic cons in the US, and it was amazing. Not only did I get to meet a ton of readers and fellow authors, but I was able to connect with a ton of new readers and sell lots of books. A big part of the success was the beautiful new convention edition of the Threadlight trilogy, which attracted a lot of attention. I even sold copies to Matt Dinniman (Dungeon Crawler Carl) and Jeff Hayes (DCC narrator)! Fun fact there...my mom was visiting the booth when Jeff bought his and he had her sign it as well. I think it made her life.

The book is truly a work of art. And while I'm committed (for now) to only sell them in-person, I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway with each newsletter this year!

As far as updates go, I'm continuing to make progress on Cloudfall. Still feeling confident on the outline and writing so far. The world, the characters, and the events are truly going to be something special. I'll keep writing and getting feedback from the writing group.

My next major event is WorldCon in August. I'm happy to officially share that in addition to having a short story in the Grim Oak Press anthology for Worldcon, I will also be a panelist! So if you're attending, come shout some support during my panels :) For those who have been following along, I've talked about my short story for the anthology called "The Boy With No Boon". I shared the opening to my writing group, and they loved it. But they thought the title didn't set the right vibe for the story. So now it's called "The Bane of Ixmu". Trust me, you're going to love this one.

As always, thank you for your support over the years. Being an author is such a strange experience. Hearing from you, meeting you, and knowing that you've enjoyed my stories means the world to me. Never hesitate to reach out and share a favorite quote, chapter, anything.

Love you all!
