Book Bro Giveaway...part 2?
Jul 05, 2025 2:01 pm
Hey nerds!
Thanks for submitting to the Book Bro Giveaway! As part of the giveaway, you were added to my irregularly sent newsletter (at least quarterly) where I share updates on my books and future stories. But I'm also doing something a little special this year.
Every newsletter in 2025, I am doing a giveaway for a copy of the deluxe Convention Edition of the Threadlight trilogy. This thick cloth-bound, foil-stamped hardcover contains all three books in the award-winning series which has sold over 20,000 copies, and has stunning silver gilded edges to match the unique silver foiling on the dust jacket (art by Randy Vargas of MTG fame). Check it out on my Instagram.
So, no pressure from me. Feel free to stick around, enter the giveaway with each newsletter. Or unsubscribe and pretend like we never met (which we likely probably haven't...yet?)
Today, it's an epic giveaway to win 13 BOOKS from some real legends, including my convention edition!
Thank you all for everything you do for the authors you read and support. We like to think its our stories that are magical, but it's really the community that holds all the power.
May your song be forever in tune,
—Zack Argyle
PS. I'm getting author headshots in two weeks...I told them I want to look hot like Pierce Brown...let's see if they can make the impossible possible!
————— A bit more from my most recent newsletter—————
For my SEATTLE fans, I'm happy to announce that I will be a featured author at the inaugural Spellbound in Seattle convention in 2026. If you live in the area, head over to their website to sign up! Currently, it looks like I may be the only man at the event, so that'll be an experience 😂.
And if you don't live in Seattle but are coming for Worldcon, don't forget to order a copy of the Grim Oak Press Grimoire for the event! I love my short story in it, and I still can't believe my name is on there along with Martha Wells, Matt Dinniman, and other legends.
Many of you have been following along for a while and have probably noticed how much I've been enjoying writing short stories. Well...I may have written more and planned out a complete fantasy anthology of standalone short stories...I'll keep making progress on these and keep you posted!
As for Cloudfall, my new epic series, I'm still making slow progress, still sharing chapters with my writing group, and generally still quite pleased with the strength of the story. Just about at the 50% mark now.
