Hello. I am right here with you.

Dearest ,

Hello you.

Hello August.

Hello deep divine friend within.

Hello beloved.

Hello mad world.

Hello honey.

Hello hive.

Hello Beyonce’s new visual album.

I am home.

Home from a trip out east and back, by car, by mask,

The long and lovely, wet, dry, sunny, shade road.

I thank you for your time and reflections.

For your timely dropping of the new T Swift and fresh podcast de Michelle.

For the hours, and hours,

Time to sing, listen, talk, and reflect. A change of scenery.

What luck.

What joy.

But now back home, no more severe changes of landscape or known destination, I am still filled with a bout of fresh hopeful energy to keep moving, and to above all stay curious, engaged,

Inquisitive…

In order to join in and serve. Fresh eyes and open heart, like I had on the open road -

Even when I feel trapped again, at home.

Thank you for being here, where we connect, and motivate to move on the mat and connect to body and source.

This month, we kick off our practice with a new session on the fundamentals of finding ease. I think it is always of value to return to the practice of honing beginners mind.

I have also uploaded a new practice to the FWFG Yoga App called Stretchy Calming Yoga! You can find this near perfect quarantine practice (wink) and its full Savasana HERE.

Please stay tuned for my August membership vlog - where I talk about my recent trip and the current wave - which will post to the App this week!

Our August month of self study has officially kicked off with our INQUIRE calendar and playlist.

It is not too late to join in, seeing as how this is DAY 2. In fact, it’s perfect. Start today with the new session!

I’m off to read my book, stretch with Benji, and rest a bit today. Big week ahead. Big projects. Big heart.

Hello August.

Hello you.

Hello again, honey.

Let’s begin in a nice comfortable seat.

Breathe in,

And out.

I am right here with you.

Love,

Adriene

Who made the world?

Who made the swan, and the black bear?

Who made the grasshopper?

This grasshopper, I mean-

the one who has flung herself out of the grass,

the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,

who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down-

who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.

Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.

Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.

I don't know exactly what a prayer is.

I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down

into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,

how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,

which is what I have been doing all day.

Tell me, what else should I have done?

Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?

Tell me, what is it you plan to do

with your one wild and precious life?
