Have you signed up yet? My thoughts

Hi!
There is no question this is a unique type of discussion, if you are not sure what exactly you will get out of this course read my thoughts:
The idea of an End of Days seems foreign to many Jews. And yet we are constantly working towards Tikun Olam, a better and rectified world. What does this world look like? More importantly, how do we know when we 'got there'.
Moshiach and the redemption is one of the most maligned and misunderstood topics in Judaism. Utopian visions of world peace and endless bounty sound like the stuff of fairy tales, how should rational adults approach this?
Take this opportunity to finally appreciate and understand, in a realistic and down-to-earth manner, what Judaism means when it talks about a “Messiah.”
This course dives deep into the sources and data to uncover why I belive the Messianic era is a the climax to the entire story of the universe, and the very purpose for its existence.
-------
The Culmination of Purpose
or otherwise known as The End of Days and the Coming of the Messiah
Apocalypse, Rapture, End of Days, Judgment Day, Utopia - does Judaism believe in any of this?
Questions we will discuss include:
- What is the purpose of the world?
- Why do we believe in the Messiah as a person, not an era?
- What does Judaism mean when it says “Messiah”?
- End of war and hunger, defeat of disease, Reincarnation of the Dead, the Temple returns, Israel as a final homeland - are these all wild fantasies or true?
- And finally - Can All this REALLY Happen?
The course fee is $75 with an optional course textbook available for purchase. Scholarships are available upon request. Sign up at: https://www.yjpaustin.org/civicrm/event/register?reset=1&id=97
