You may have heard or seen the antisemitic incidents that happened in Austin this week. While annoying when we are confronted with such a display of darkness and hatred, we must respond as Jews--with increased light and kindness, and set an example with strong confident Jewish pride.

How? I am teaching a 4 part series free of charge on Outsmarting Antisemitism starting this Wednesday night 7:30-9pm. Join me! It will be over Zoom so you don’t even need to leave your living room.

Details are here, but simply reply to this email and I’ll send you the Zoom link.

This week I”m up in NY gathering more High Jewish Energy at the International Chabad Convention for the Emissaries of the Rebbe. This is a 4 day whirlwind of study, conversation, Farbrengen and inspiration where we gather more energy (and ideas) for our Austin community.

Sunday evening is a grand Banquet usually with 5,000 (although this year will probably be less) rabbis and guests celebrating the Jewish nation and bright future we have.

Shabbos services are happening as usual at 11:00 am in the YJP Garden thanks to the amazing Rebbetzin and a team of volunteers.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom, have an uplifting week!

As always, we would love to chat with you over coffee or drinks, Judaism, life or chill - just reply to this email if you are interested,

I'm very excited to begin this years Fall JLI Course next month. Outsmarting Antisemitism, a 4-week course beginning November 3rd, takes on the dark subject of antisemitism squarely, with a sense of unabashed optimism, profound faith, and a distinctly Jewish approach.

This course is FREE for YJP - enter code YJP to get 100% off the fee.
