We hope your post-Passover power nap is particularly pleasant.

The Jewish season heads into a quieter zone with lesser-known Jewish holidays over the next months. While they might be lesser-known, they are some of the more interesting ones, for example, Lag Baomer, the Kabbalistic highlight of the year, and Shavuot, the day the Torah was given, marked with all-night study and heavy cheesecake and dairy meals.

There will be events to mark these occasions but we would like to remind you that regular Judaism is fun too. Join us for a class, Shabbat services, a Shabbat meal, or a coffee connection.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom, have an uplifting week! Looking forward to celebrating together!

Rabbi Mendy & Mussy

p.s. As always, we would love to chat with you over coffee or drinks, about Judaism, or just life - simply reply to this email.

BEYOND RIGHT: THE VALUES THAT SHAPE JUDAISM'S CIVIL CODE

Talmudic analysis and mind-bending logic have long been a hallmark of Jewish scholarship. But buried beneath much of the discussion and legalese are core Jewish values that fuel so much of the debate. This course examines a number of key legal issues that disclose fundamental ethical considerations that serve as the engine of Jewish civil law.

🗣️  Jewish word of the week: nu (n, v, adj)

The ultimate Jewish word, really more like a sound. More meanings than oy.

Nu, I really need to explain this one to you?

Nu..... (the nudge)

Nu! (you won't get it anyways)

Nu, Nu (whatever, it is what it is)
