The next course I am teaching will be discussing one of the most fascinating and enigmatic Jewish concepts and beliefs - The Culmination of Purpose
or otherwise known as The End of Days and the Coming of the Messiah
Apocalypse, Rapture, End of Days, Judgment Day, Utopia - does Judaism believe in any of this?
Questions we will discuss include:
- What is the purpose of the world?
- Why do we believe in the Messiah as a person, not an era?
- What does Judaism mean when it says “Messiah”?
- End of war and hunger, defeat of disease, Reincarnation of the Dead, the Temple returns, Israel as a final homeland - are these all wild fantasies or true?
- And finally - Can All this REALLY Happen?
The course fee is $75 with an optional course textbook available for purchase. Scholarships are available upon request. Sign up at: https://www.yjpaustin.org/civicrm/event/register?reset=1&id=97
Looking forward to studying together
