,
We are all feeling acute, unfathomable pain alongside our brothers and sisters in Israel. And everyone wants to know “what can I do?"
Achdut, Jewish unity, is our greatest, most precious resource. We are one body, one soul.
Our unity, says the Torah, is a vessel for G-d's salvation. When G-d sees the Jewish people bound together, His blessing flow forth.
Our community is our salvation.
Tomorrow (Friday night), let's unite together to welcome Shabbat – a day of peace – with prayer, light, song, and warmth.
The men will wrap tefillin, the women will light of Shabbat candles, we will pray and sing.
Afterwards, there will be kiddush and light dinner, and a chance to just simply be together. We will talk, we will share stories, we will sing.
RSVP is required, address will be sent upon RSVP. Security will be present.
Remember, we are courageous Jews, we are HIGH ENERGY show up, be proud, and let us pray for G-d to provide sound comfort to every suffering soul of the Jewish people.
