You might ask yourself: What am I accomplishing with my donation?

Here is a fresh Jewish Story that took place TODAY, yes, Sunday, December 12.
Rabbi Yosef Levertov got a call this morning. On the other line was a man asking for help. He is currently homeless and was asking the rabbi to help him find a place to sleep, maybe a hotel.
Now let me pause the story for a moment. We all know about the big events, the Shabbat services, the holiday events, and the big rabbi moments. But then there are the other half of the days. The calls and requests that come to Chabad that are not big headliners.
This was that second type of call. A man needs help finding a bed to sleep in for the night.
And today is the big Fundraiser.
I don’t need to tell you what the Rabbi did. He dropped everything and while the volunteers continued to man the campaign he found a hotel that would accept this fellow, paid for his night there and made sure he had a place to sleep.
THIS is what your donation funds. Acts of kindness that happen between a caring rabbi and a person in need.
