The Chai Times #31 // Passover Finale
Apr 21, 2022 9:06 pm
Last week we entered Passover with a Seder, celebrating our past liberation from Egypt. This Shabbat afternoon we sign off the holiday with a celebration of a much greater liberation yet to come.
Ushered in by Moshiach, this utopian era will be one of world peace and prosperity and the eradication of disease and strife. An era when the Bet Hamikdash will be rebuilt and G-dliness will be revealed for all to see.
On the last day of Passover the radiance of Moshiach shines bright. In the final hours of the day it's customary to hold a “Feast of Moshiach” to harness that energy and deepen our awareness of that era.
Read more about this special custom and join the communal “Feast of Moshiach” being held in 7:00pm on Saturday (reply for address).
Let's tap into our unlimited potential to bring about this global transformation by adding in goodness and kindness.
Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom, have an uplifting week! Looking forward to celebrating together!

Pesach Finale
As we bid farewell to Pesach, we invite you for an informal "Farbrengen," that will take place this Saturday 4/23 at 7:30 p.m.
Wine, song, thoughts, discussion, matzah. Uplifting end to a week of holiness and a launch into the second half of the Jewish year.
Please reply to this email or text so we can be prepared. One of the traditions is to drink 4 cups of wine in a seder mirror effect.

BEYOND RIGHT: THE VALUES THAT SHAPE JUDAISM'S CIVIL CODE
Talmudic analysis and mind-bending logic have long been a hallmark of Jewish scholarship. But buried beneath much of the discussion and legalese are core Jewish values that fuel so much of the debate. This course examines a number of key legal issues that disclose fundamental ethical considerations that serve as the engine of Jewish civil law.
