The Chai Times // Solve the (Cyber) Puzzle

Thought:

Think of your world as a massive jigsaw puzzle in 3 dimensions plus time. Every object and event that enters your world is meant to fit together neatly with all the others.

And yet they seem just a heap of discordant fragments.

Here is the trick to reassembling the broken pieces:

Start by finding your own purpose. Then move headstrong towards it. Once you find purpose, all that's needed for that purpose will find you. And those things already attached to you will find their place as well.

Suddenly, where once noise and chaos tore you in a thousand directions, there plays a magnificent symphony.

- Rebbe, as adapted by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman for Chabad.org

Wishing you an uplifting Shabbat,

Rabbi Mendy & Mussy

First case: thieves break into a car to steal a laptop, in the process they save the life of a dog forgotten in the back seat. Do they have to pay for the value of the window?

Another: you are at a party at a friend's house and open a soda bottle that has the winning code for 1 mil. Who gets the money, you or your host?
