This email is dedicated to the speedy recovery of Meir Ben Chana - by Chaim Aron Green

The Jews started and stopped many times in their 40-year odyssey from Egypt to the Holy Land.

The excess of stops delayed destiny, but even the pauses are referred to as "journeys" in this week's Parshas, Matot-Maasei. Why?!

Because they served as springboards for the next step.

Our ancestors' trek mirrors the journey of each soul. Progress is riddled with faults and life has its myriad halts.

But each setback is an opportunity to refine future growth.

When the barriers get in the way, don’t frown. Your road has not ended.

Gather energy and refine your strategy for your surge forward.

Never stop journeying. Convert a pause in your present into the force of your future.

Wishing you an uplifting Shabbat,

Rabbi Mendy & Mussy
