Think:

The WSJ recently wrote about the return of the dreaded end-of-year performance review. Rosh Hashanah, the mystics tell us, is the original performance review, a reevaluation of the project of creation. On Rosh Hashanah eve, the universe is in a state of “slumber” as G-d again considers if His has a desire to have a relationship with the world.

But we celebrate Rosh Hashanah, not dread it. Because this review is not an employer/employee dynamic, but one of love. G-d extends an invitation to us, asking if we still want to continue the journey of life together. G-d expresses His love for us, and in our “review” asks us if we still are passionate about Him.

Are we ready to commit to another year of being G-d's manifestation of light & love in this world? Do we say yes?

Find your way to a Shofar blowing this Rosh Hashanah. That will be your answer.

Wishing you an uplifting last Shabbat of the year!

Buy yourself a letter in the Torah

You can have a part of history.

We are renewing a 38-year-old (after some investigation it is clear that the Torah was refurbished 38 years and is closer to 80, maybe 100 years old) bringing it to our shul.

A Torah of our own!

We will use it every Shabbat and on the holidays.

You can dedicate a portion of this Torah!

Of the 5 books of the Torah

Bereishit (Genesis) - reserved.

Shmot (Exodus) - available

Vayikra (Leviticus) - available

Bamidbar (Numbers) - available

Devarim (Duteronomy) - available

There are many parshas still open!
