This newsletter offers insights, inspiration, and resources to spark that deeper connection.

✨ Intimacy Invitations: Beyond the Physical

While physical intimacy often steals the spotlight, nurturing intimacy goes beyond the bedroom. It's about fostering emotional connection, vulnerability, and shared experiences.

Here are some "invitations" I offered on Instagram this month

• What's one memory you would want to keep (if all others might disappear)
• Name one way that a loved one brings out the best in you

And one that hasn't made it to Instagram, at least not yet:

Invite a loved one to a support prepping session. Each of you will come ready to share 2-3 ways that you appreciate being supported during difficult times. Even if you know one another well, share what stressed out/overwhelmed/anxious (whatever feels like the right fit) looks like - the signs and symptoms - and what might help alleviate that - even if just a little bit.

Getting clear on what happens for you during tough times, and ways to address unmet needs serves both those around you as well as yourself!

Examples:

• anxious: a super tight hug
• overwhelmed/stressed: doing the dishes, cooking, etc. so I don't have to

Honoring Audre Lorde & Toni Morrison

February 18th marked the birthday of two incredible women ancestors: Audre Lorde & Toni Morrison. Disappearing again

Over the next month, I will finish my certification as an Authentic Consent Facilitator & complete a Sex Doula certification training in Costa Rica -- both by Goddess Amina, while trying to work on my dissertation. I will also be celebrating my marriage to Alfredo, this time in Mexico, with family and friends. This means I'll be pretty MIA again but I do plan to share an upcoming blog on standing your values ground as well as sharing some wins & losses I've experienced this season on Instagram.
