We met last fall when I came to your campus to offer a workshop, "Sexuality and Self-Awareness: Knowledge is Power" and a research talk, "Body, Belonging, Race, Fetishization, and Sex: Creating a Research Project that Speaks to What You Want to See in the World".

As some of you may remember, I am finishing up my dissertation (I defend in 10 days!) and so now I have time to re-dedicate to growing my business and reaching more people through my workshops and trainings. As I prepare for this transition, I am looking for people who can share about their experiences with my workshops or talks.

Therefore, if you felt that you gained something from attending one of my sessions, my ask is that you share about your experience! As a thank you for sharing your experience, I can offer either a 50% coupon for my upcoming online workshop on March 5th, Mapping Your Arousal: A Workshop for Pleasure & Self-Discovery OR a free 15-min 1:1 coaching session where you can ask a question you have.

What does a testimonial talk about?

There are a lot of options. What I'm looking for right now is the following but if you have other ideas, that could be fun, too!:

1. Students: (1) Something you learned from the workshop (or talk) and how you think other students would benefit from attending a workshop with me (if you think they would); (2) a message for student groups or universities about what you think others might gain by having me come to their campus
2. Staff/faculty: (1) something you learned from the workshop (or talk) and what you see as personal benefits to attending a workshop with me generally or what benefits you see/recognize for students; (2) a message for student groups and universities about what you think others might gain by having me come to their campus for workshops or as a consultant

How do I share my testimonial?

Please choose one of the following options:

1. Using LinkedIn recommendations feature
2. Replying here (or on Insta/tiktok and tagging me @yaelthesexgeek) with a video testimonial that I could add to my marketing - this one is new for me and I think it could be really fun!
3. Replying here with a written testimonial. For this one, you can use a fake name if you prefer. You can also add demographic info that you think is relevant such as age, race, gender, orientation, religion, job type, etc. but only if you feel comfortable adding and it feels relevant for you.) You can see examples of what others have shared here and here if you scroll to the testimonials for each.

How do I get my thank you benefit?

• If you reply to this email with your testimonial, please let me know which of the two benefits you'd like and I'll share a code for the workshop or 1:1 coaching.
• If you share on Linkedin or by tagging me somewhere, let me know by replying to this email with a link to your testimonial and which of the two benefits you'd like and I'll share a code for the workshop or 1:1 coaching.

When do I have until?
