Hi there

Well, procrastination has set in a few days before we leave for Europe on Friday. I am always ultra-prepared and have all my bags packed with everything organised at least a week out. Not so this time and seems it will all be done the night before with all of our bags open and scattered on the lounge room floor!

Long Haul!

I often hear people talking about long-haul flights on the internet. Until you have lived in Australia you don't really know the meaning of long-haul flights. This trip for us will consist of the following to get there:

• Home to the airport 3 hours
• time at Melbourne airport 3 hours
• Melbourne to Singapore 7 hours
• time at Singapore Airport 2 hours
• Singapore to Frankfurt 13 hours
• time at Frankfurt Airport 2 hours
• Frankfurt to Prague 1 hour

That makes 31 hours in total from when we pull out of our driveway to when we land in Prague. The way home is even longer as we have 5 hours in both Frankfurt and Singapore airports. Luckily, we have booked a lounge pass in Singapore Airport with Klook for 3 hours.

Prague

We only have 3 full days in Prague, and 2 of these days we will be seeing things outside the city. We are headed for the site of a former Nazi Extermination Camp at Treblinka and one of the most famous castles in the Czech Republic, Karlštejn Castle.

Singapore
