Michael Griffin, MSPT retired after a long career and 12 years at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Westborough’s Outpatient Clinic

We held Mike’s retirement party at the end of May at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Westborough. It was a bittersweet celebration, but we are so happy for Mike and the wonderful adventurous plans that lie ahead for him!

Patient Success | Outpatient


JT “graduated” from Westborough’s Outpatient Clinic

JT recently finished his physical and occupational therapy regimen at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Westborough. 💪 He and his wife brought us a huge bunch of snacks and a lovely thank you card. Service Spotlight | Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)


Whittier’s Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals coordinate and provide care to people discharged from intensive acute-care medical units

Because of our professional reputation, outstanding clinical outcomes, and convenient locations, many Whittier patients in our service areas choose to transfer to one of our dual-certified LTACHs in Haverhill and Westborough Massachusetts.

Expert Advice | Applying for Medicaid/MassHealth coverage


Seniors – or people of any age – may find that their financial resources aren’t sufficient when they need an extended hospital stay or long-term care. If income, assets, and long-term care insurance have been depleted, Medicaid/MassHealth can help those with limited resources in Massachusetts if an individual meets financial and other qualifying criteria.

They say that “It’s a balance between keeping people safe but also piquing their interest in food.” For more on this collaboration, read our blog.
