Hello!
It's been a hectic few months, with some highs and lows. Here's our event news:
The Good
- We've helped people with their swim fitness, training & mental well-being by opening up Collingwood Dock for limited numbers open water swimming.
- We've been guiding small groups on The Welsh 3000s Challenge (15 Peaks)
- We've raised £3,187.96 (+ £565.00 Gift Aid) for Level Water - a charity that teaches disabled kids to swim. Still time to get involved or donate!
- We've got another Virtual Race coming on 29 Aug, our 4th of the year, more fun than it sounds
- We've been working very hard to give you race targets to train for, and make all of our planned events Covid-safe, despite this some have been cancelled
- Our Introduction to Swimrun Workshop is back! Just 3 places left, book here
- We're offering a small group 8km guided swim in Aberdovey on 22 Aug, details here
The Sad
- Cadair X cancelled - coming back 26 June 2021
- Dyfi ULTRA cancelled - coming back 12 June 2021
- The DOVEY 13km cancelled - coming back 26th Sep 2021
All participants have been contacted. We offer free transfer to 2021 on cancelled events, or a full refund. We really appreciate it if you can transfer rather than refund if at all possible.
The Resolute
- If you have entered Tal Y Llyn Swim 2km/10km you have been sent an email regarding spreading the swims over 2 days (Sat 12 & Sun 13 Sep), if you haven't received this please get in touch - [email protected]
- It is likely that Aberdovey Swim will be spread over 2 days with Beat The Tide 4km on the Sat 19 Sep as planned, and the Tafol Tumble 8km on Sun 20 Sep. Participants will be contacted once this is confirmed
- Our limited numbers Dyfi X Trail Marathon (Full & Half) is still on for 03 Oct
If you have a small group that want to take on an adventure swim, multi-sport or mountain challenge then please get in touch, there's a very good chance we can help.
If you've enjoyed one of our events in the past please share your good vibes by adding a Google Review of your experience. Appreciated.
Have a great weekend and remember, if in doubt, get outside.
