AltaConnect is sharing a new servicing opportunity available through the Arise® Platform for TXU Energy, a leading retail electricity provider serving customers across Texas. This program involves inbound customer support with collections and sales responsibilities and is best suited for agents who are confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling billing discussions and upsell conversations.

This program requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow Texas utility regulations while delivering high-quality customer experiences.



Servicing Overview

  • Call Type: Inbound customer support (collections & sales)
  • Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Handling customer billing inquiries
  • Processing payment deferrals and installment plans
  • Retention and save attempts
  • Upselling eligible home warranty solutions
  • Enrolling customers in appropriate energy plans
  • Resolving issues on the first call whenever possible
  • Ensuring compliance with Texas utility regulations
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction and quality scores

Revenue Information

Production Service Revenue

  • $11.50 per hour ($5.75 per 30-minute interval)
  • Before deduction of the Arise Platform Usage Fee

Certification Service Revenue

  • $7.64 per hour ($3.82 per 30-minute interval)

Incentives

  • Earn an additional $100 when you complete certification and accept your first Production SOW (minimum servicing requirements apply)
  • Earn an additional $1.81 per hour when servicing a minimum of 12 hours per week during the Certification SOW (after Phase II)



Servicing Schedule

  • Intervals Available: Sunday – Saturday
  • Servicing Window: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET
  • Special Requirement:
  • A minimum of 3 hours (6 intervals) must be serviced on Mondays

Certification Schedule

Phase I – Instructor-Led & Self-Study

  • January 13, 2026 – January 30, 2026
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET
  • 4 hours instructor-led daily
  • 2–3 hours of self-study daily
  • No class on Monday, January 19, 2026

Phase II – Certification Call-Taking (Blended Learning)

  • February 2, 2026 – February 26, 2026
  • Includes live call-taking while continuing instruction
  • Minimum servicing commitment required during certification

Attendance Notice

  • Attendance is critical. Failure to attend on Day 1 will result in removal from the class with no exceptions.
  • Important: If you do not show up to class on the first day, you will be dropped from the class with no exceptions. PLEASE NOTE: The Class Confirmation Deposit for this program is $50.00, and it will not be refunded. You will need to enroll in a new class if you wish to service another client program.

Certification Requirements

To successfully complete certification, agents must:

  • Maintain required attendance
  • Complete all self-study modules daily
  • Pass quizzes and exams (80% minimum; final exam requires 90%)
  • Pass quality observations
  • Complete Security Awareness training (85% minimum)
  • Successfully upsell at least one home warranty solution during Phase II

System & Equipment Requirements

AltaConnect does not provide equipment.

Agents must supply their own equipment that meets Arise and TXU Energy standards, including:

  • Windows 11 PC only (fully updated; Windows 10 is not supported)
  • Hard-wired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted)
  • USB hard-wired headset with phone-quality audio
  • Dual monitors strongly recommended (22” or larger)
  • All systems must pass the Arise PC Scan

Equipment resources:


Background Check & Drug Screening

  • Background check, drug screening, and photo ID verification are required
  • Total cost: $75, paid directly to the vendor
  • Drug screening must be fully cleared at least 7 days before class start
  • Failure to meet deadlines will result in loss of your class seat

Important Eligibility Notes

You may not qualify if you:

  • Have dropped or failed a certification within the last 60 days
  • Have multiple certification drops within the past 12 months
  • Are currently enrolled or interested in another opportunity
  • Have Commitment Adherence below 90%
  • Have had a prior SOW terminated for cause
