Join the team supporting The World's Most Popular Cruise Line® as a remote customer sales agent. Help customers plan their dream vacations aboard Carnival's fleet of 25 ships sailing to destinations worldwide including The Bahamas, Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, and more.

Earning Potential

Production Service Revenue: $10.50 per hour (assumes servicing two 30-minute intervals)

Certification Service Revenue: $7.64 per hour during training phase

Contracted Service Partners typically earn between $11.90 and $13.13 per hour before platform usage fee deduction.

Additional Earning Opportunities

Sales Incentives:

  • $2.00 for every booking deposit
  • $1.00 for every vacation protection package sold
  • $0.50 for every upgrade sold

STAR Performance Incentives:

  • Earn 15% to 40% additional revenue based on performance metrics
  • Bonus incentive for servicing minimum hours during certification

Training Program Details

Start Date: December 8, 2025

Phase I - Instructor-Led & Self-Study

  • Duration: December 8, 2025 – January 12, 2026
  • 4 hours instructor-led class daily
  • 2 hours self-study work
  • Class times: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM ET or 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday
  • No class on 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1, and 1/19

Phase II - Certification Call-Taking

  • Duration: January 13, 2026 – January 20, 2026
  • Live call-taking with continued learning support
  • Must service minimum 10 hours (20 intervals) per week

What You'll Do

Handle inbound customer calls for:

  • Cruise bookings and reservations
  • Answering cruise-specific questions
  • Providing quotes and promotional information
  • Assisting with travel documentation and special needs
  • Transferring calls to specialized departments when needed
  • Possible outbound calls for status updates and clarifications

Stay current on the latest Carnival sales and promotions while delivering exceptional customer service.

Servicing Requirements

Weekly Minimum: 13 hours per week

Weekend Requirement: 5 hours (10 intervals) on Saturday or Sunday, or combination of both

Peak Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays

Available Servicing Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM ET
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM ET
  • 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Required Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

  • Windows 11 (fully updated to most recent version)
  • Dual monitors recommended
  • Minimum 1280 x 1024 monitor resolution
  • Hardwired internet connection (no WiFi)
  • Hardwired USB noise-cancelling headset with phone-quality audio
  • Professional, noise-free work environment

Skills and Abilities:

  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Patience, empathy, and stress management
  • Strong sales techniques and ability to overcome objections
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask

Background Check Required:

  • Background check and photo ID verification required
  • Credit check component (credit freeze must be temporarily lifted with Experian)

Certification Requirements

To successfully complete certification, you must:

  • Achieve 80% average on e-learning modules
  • Score 80% or higher on role plays
  • Complete 100% of daily self-paced work
  • Score 90% or greater on final assessments
  • Service minimum 10 intervals per week during certification
  • Attend 100% of instructor-led sessions (highly encouraged)
  • Complete Security Awareness course with 85% or higher
  • Meet with sales expert daily January 21-23, 2026

Important: Missing the first day of class will result in automatic removal with no exceptions. The $50 class confirmation deposit is non-refundable in this case.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role requires meeting service level requirements including:

  • Commitment Adherence: ≥ 90%
  • Quality Score: ≥ 90%
  • Average Handle Time: 700-850 seconds
  • Net Conversion: > 22%
  • Vacation Protection Plan Take Rate: > 37%

Disqualifications

You do NOT qualify if:

  • Currently servicing any Carnival program through another vendor
  • Currently or previously serviced Princess or Holland programs through Arise
  • Currently servicing 3 or more programs
  • Working for any other travel agency or cruise line
  • Have SOWs terminated for cause in last period
  • Already enrolled in another opportunity with overlapping dates
  • Have dropped/failed certification class in last 60 days
  • Have 3 drops/fails from certification classes in 12-month period
