Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday! Wow it's already the last day of Campnanowrimo. That went by fast. This week was a whirlwind of activity. I got the addresses for the blog reviewers for my Storygram tour that's coming up at the end of August. And right after I packaged them, I got the green light for another virtual book tour on Tiktok. I just barely hit my Campanowrimo goals. Since I have definitely been falling behind in the writing and editing department, I decided to start a new story hoping to rekindle my writing spark and it worked. I wrote a little over 1,500 words on Tuesday which is the most I've written in one sitting for awhile. The story is a cowriting project tentatively called Gourmet hunters. It's a bit of an out there concept. Think Monster Hunters meets Bobs Burgers. It will be either a web novel or web comic although we haven't decided yet.

In writing news, Snow's Captive episode 8 is officially live. I still have the rafflecopter giveaway running for anyone who likes, favorites, or shares the story. If you don't like how Kindle Vella is set up, no worries. I also have the first 7 episodes up on my Patreon (and will put the episodes on Radish if it gets accepted). Tomorrow, I will send out some reviewing opportunities and the choice to opt in to read chapters 11-15 for Snow's Captive, so keep an eye out for that email.

And one last reminder. I have signed copies up on Etsy if you want to nab a copy for yourself. If I run out, I'll order more.

To end today's email, I thought I'd share a piece of banter from Snow's Captive that I particularly enjoy between Hunter and Imani. (I just started writing a chapter from her POV since you all enjoyed her character).

I gave a short laugh. "You hate Clyde too huh? Maybe you scum aren't all bad after all."

Imani slammed me into the ground, knocking the wind out of me. "Don't attempt to befriend me murderer."

I wheezed. "Okay, murderess."

She smacked me across the face so hard I saw stars. "Any last words before I kill you?"

I snickered. "Harder?"
