Hi everyone,
I hope you're having a great week and if you're doing Nanowrimo like me, I hope you're surviving. I'm trying to get ahead on my word count since my mom's birthday is the last day of Nanowrimo, so I want to have plenty of time dedicated to her so I can do a mini surprise.
Anyway, here are some publishing updates for you. "Gabriel is Cursed" is officially with the proofreader. I had my biggest ever live stream last weekend, and I'm hoping to do some collaborative streams with another authortuber very soon.
As far as writing goes, I've gotten some great progress on my short story. I'm at 6,227 words for the story of Chikyuu and Engetsu, but I still have several scenes to go, so it might need some serious trimming. The maximum word count for submission is 10,000 words. I've gotten to 31,717 words in "Belladonna was Betrayed" which is awesome. I'm at one of the big conflict scenes and then I have to write Belladonna's and Nightshade's big fight before Belladonna and Nightshade both do something quite...drastic.
As of writing this on Wednesday, I've gotten about 18,757 words done which is awesome. Hopefully, I can get even more done during my live stream this weekend.
And finally, I have another preview for you. In this chapter, Gabriel makes a difficult decision and picks up a nasty habit. Rose and Gabriel get into an argument and she learns more about her nymph powers.
If you'd like to see any specific types of scenes, let me know so I can include them for next week's newsletter ^^.

I'm feeling much more productive this week, and I've even gotten to do some more reading. I just finished my friend's debut book "What are Friends For?" and I loved it. It was a great change from the spooky reads I'd devoured for Halloween.
I plan on starting "The Scorpio Races" tonight.
What books have you been reading lately?
That's all I've got for you today. Have a great day and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Julia
