Hi everyone,
I hope you're having a good week. When it comes to life updates I don't have too much to share. Work has been pretty good. Tam's big book launch came to an end, and I got to learn some SQL (this is a good thing I really like tech and coding...but not Java). The Papillion pet sit went great and I got to meet their super-shy grey tabby cat. She's so lovable and spending time there was a great change of pace. My pet sit with an adorable puggle had to be canceled due to a Covid scare, so after the Papillion pet sit, I quarantined for a bit and took many a covid test. Thankfully everything came up negative.
For Campnanowrimo, I decided to add some scenes to Amy's childhood story like the scene where Amy goes to trial for killing that general during the War of the Twin Swords. I'm hoping to start sharing snippets of that story with all of you soon. And today I started working on the next chapter for Snow's Captive. I'm hoping to have that out for you next week.
What characters would you like to see more of in Snow's Captive and Poisoned by Love's Bite?
I love taking your feedback into account when writing these stories. They've been a fun way to experiment in my writing, and sometimes looking at the plot from a different character's perspective gives me an idea of what angle to show a new scene from. Even if I don't keep the scene for the final draft, it can offer some great perspective and of course I'll let ya'll see the deleted scene ^^.
That's all for now.
Have a great day and stay safe!
Sincerely,
Julia
