I hope you had an awesome week. This week, I found out that Poisoned by Love's Bite and Snow's Captive did really well on Vella in December, so I decided to host a Valentines day event. It will have $90 in Amazon gift cards, and a $50 Valentines day themed book box up for grabs as prizes. You can check the FB event group here. Oh, and I might have finally found an apartment. Fingers crossed for me. They have the deposit so it's mostly just paperwork and credit checks now.

On the writing front, I drafted a new episode for Snow's Captive and Poisoned by Love's Bite, but I'm a little behind editing them. I'm hoping to get them posted in time for the Valentine's day event.

My writer's behind the scenes for this week is about keeping yourself out of trouble. While it isn't necessary to BE a lawyer to be a writer, definitely make sure you either have a lawyer or brush up on some basic business law to avoid getting in trouble. If you want to keep your personal finances safe, I'd recommend looking into making your publishing company an LLC.

Believe it or not people with ADHD often end up being entrepreneurs at some point and we can be a bit impatient so we typically grow fast, buuuut if we're not careful we also can burn out fast. I've gone through a jewelry making business, tutoring business, editing business, and now publishing. I still do all of them except the jewelry making business. But I do make the jewelry you see in my giveaways.
