Hi everyone,

I hope you had an awesome week. This week, I was busy, busy, busy. On top of running all around to get my application in for the apartment that "fingers crossed" I might be moving into soon. The application is officially submitted, so now all that's left is to wait. I also was setting up this rafflecopter for the Valentine's Day giveaway. And I made tons of pretty graphics for each author's introduction. We've still got a couple days left of takeovers and my slot is at 12:00pm today. You can check it out here. And one of my prizes involves me being your book cupid for Valentine's day.

On the writing front, I haven't done any writing or editing sadly, but good news if you're not in the states, I'll be submitting my work on Radish, so if it gets in you'll have another way to check out the story.

My writer's behind the scenes for this week is about finding time for yourself even when life gets hectic. Even though I felt perpetually behind the ball as a writer and worker, having my little 5 minute meditations and midnight reading sessions helped me recharge enough to keep going. It's those little routines and bits of self-care that help keep me going as a writer.

Personally, I've always treated it more as an excuse to spoil my friends and family than a romantic holiday, but I know in other countries it's not a holiday at all. If that's the case, do you have any similar holidays?
