Hi everyone,
I passed my PMP! I'm officially a certified project manager. That test made me want to never glance at another test again, but it's done woo! This week has been pretty good. I'm pet sitting with an adorable labrador retriever, and I've started making those enveloped. Thank you for everyone who signed up. I'm hoping to send those out very soon. And I made a little progress on my Coursera class this week too, so a pretty good week all around...apart from the roaches that decided to hang in my apartment and scare the heck out of me. I was so offended too I'd just cleaned.
Alright, next for the fun part, the beta reading opportunity. I've got chapter 28 of Snow's Captive ready to go for you lovely beta readers. The chapters are a little over 1k words and the due date for feedback is Wednesday. If you're interested in beta reading, send me an email and I'll get you that chapter today. I didn't make any writing progress this week since I'm recovering from Nanowrimo for a few more days. I'll mostly be editing this month apart and writing the Rose x Gabriel Christmas story which I'd like to actually have ready for you all in time for Xmas. We shall see.
And last but not least, I've got a story bundle time travel deal for you from one of the lovely authors I work with. Hers is the "Witch of the Midnight Blade" and is actually 3 books in one. There's even a bonus code in it for 25% off all Kris's other books in the main series (since this is a spin-off of her World on Fire books). It's $20 for the whole bundle which I believe has 10 books and 14 stories. Definitely check it out if you like time travel and magical-esque sci-fi. Oh, also the MC in the main series has ADHD like me so that definitely endeared me to these books.
I have a question for you.
What's your favorite time travel story?
I'm partial to Doctor Who and Back to the Future.
That's all for now.
Have a great day and stay safe!
Sincerely,
Julia (they/he)
