Hi everyone,

I hope you're having a great week. I'm officially 28 as of April 30th woo. I got fondue from The Melting Pot for the actual birthday, and May 1st my friends and I, who all have similar birthday dates, did a picnic. Don't worry we were all safe about it. Also, I wanted to share this really awesome gift I got for my birthday. It's a very creative way of repping the bi flag on my wall, and I love it!

Also, I wanted to address that I won't be promoting any future events/livestreams connected to Beckspectrum or Paigelayle due to new information that has come out about their racist behavior towards bipoc creators. I dueted some of the information on my Tiktok page if you'd like to know more details. I apologize for not vetting this livestream event before sharing it with all of you and will make sure to research future events in advanced.

For those of you beta readers who are patiently waiting for "Amy's Rebellion," I will hopefully be getting it to you in the next couple days because I'm almost finished edits yay! Next up, editing the emotion witch story and drafting the snow white vampire serial story. Let me know if you want to beta read either of those.

And I have some good news for you., a friend of mine is promoting her own voices Arthurian fantasy story so if you like enemies to lovers and YA Arthurian fantasy, it's currently FREE. This is a great read that you'll probably enjoy if you liked "War of the Twin Swords." Go ahead and check it out ^^.

Amy's Rebellion Chapter 5 (Post Developmental edits)

Iris heard Amy’s voice whisper their name. Iris slammed their half-filled pack shut and ran to Amy’s apartment. Their feet pounding the pavement in time with their erratic heartbeats.

Iris’s heart dropped into her stomach when she saw the front door ajar. Magic didn't push at Iris’s skin when they entered the home. The salt line that had sealed the entrance was broken, and blood smeared the white tiles floor. Amy's phone lay discarded in the center of the living room.

Iris picked the phone up with shaking hands. Did the assassin get her? Is she still alive? They thought. Iris pulled up Naru’s contact information and waited while the phone rang.

After three rings, Naru answered. "Amy. I thought you were going to go rally the shifters?"

Iris’s voice shook when they spoke. "They got Amy."

Naru’s words came out choked. "But how. Her house was encircled in barrier magic."

Iris scraped the toe of their shoe against the tile floor. "When I came in, the tourmalines had been cracked I'm not sure if that's how the assassin got in or if they know enchanting magic. Either way, we should be cautious. It seems like Opal has powerful allies. I’ll rally as many shifters as I can in the magic realm. I would suggest you find as many elementals to help as possible. We’ll need them."

Naru’s voice crackled on the other line. “I’ll do my best. Let me know if you find out any information on Amy’s whereabouts.”

“I will.” Iris clicked the end call button and pulled up the tickets. Now, they were glad that Amy had never been one to bother with putting passwords on her phone. She's such an old young person. Iris thought, staring at her brick-like excuse for a smartphone.

Iris opened up Amy’s email and glanced down at the tickets. The flight leaves in three hours, so I have to leave now if I want to make it in time and I don’t have a license. Great. Iris opened up Karz and booked a ride.

They paced back and forth outside of Amy's door. What am I going to do when I get to my old clan? Will they even listen to me after I disappeared for years? I haven't gone back there since the...experiments happened.

Iris bit their lip and touched the amulet Amy had made them. The cat’s eye gem around their neck could hide their transformations so long as no one touched them or talked to them. Iris clutched the pendant on their neck. They had to do this for the rest of the magic world. If they didn't fight back, Opal would destroy the Earth just like she'd destroyed the Enchantress and Sorceress clans.
