Hi everyone,

Well, I waaaas on track for my Nanowrimo goal, but my chronic illness said nope time to rest and rest and rest. Except, I didn't listen so instead of being down and out for 1 day, I was out for 3. I've been trying to study for my PMP and get my accommodations set up since my test is really really soon and I finally got my medical records forms filled out for that yesterday. Friday was when all my do-things motivation hit because I finally used some PTO to rest, so I was ready to do some writing. In two hours, I got in a few more words for the Fairytale story, detailing Snow White's escape and for Dusk's story totaling 2k words. This Snow White is a baddie with a war-torn past and a prosthetic leg. I'm hoping to share some snippets from her intro chapter soon. Speech-to-text is getting a lot easier, but I still like to handwrite certain scenes.

On the writing front, I fell almost 6,000 words behind. Cue the oh no sound that I know you've seen on Tiktok (if you're on there), but I have made progress on mostly Dusk's story and the Fairytale story this week and I consider that a win since this is the most writing I've done all year.

I have a question for you.

What's your favorite seasonal drink?

I'm partial to anything with apples or peppermint. Especially peppermint white hot chocolates and the caramel apple spice at Starbucks. Yum

That's all for now.

Have a great day and stay safe!

Sincerely,

Julia (they/he)
