Hi everyone,
I hope you're all doing well and that you are having a good start to your memorial day weekend. This week, I might have found an editor for the Gemstone Massacre series prequel story. I just sent her a sample edit so if everything looks good,
I can get that edited and published for this year.
On the writing front, I have the season finale of "Poisoned by Love's Bite." It should be ready to read on Kindle Vella soon. I also will be scheduling the new episodes on Radish as well. Don't worry there will be plenty more episodes for this story, but it will be on hiatus for a little bit while I work on outlining the next season and on making more progress with "Snow's Captive."
Since the vote was a 50/50 split for the Gemstone Massacre and Nymph's revenge story, I decided to work on the Gemstone Massacre prequel story first. If I end up having time after that story is published, I'll do the beta reads for the Nymph's revenge story as well. Now I have a question for you.
Would you like to see my own twist/take on the Once Upon a Time Series?
This is an idea I've been toying with for a while so without giving too much away the idea would be each of the traditional fairytale protagonists would have an ability that's connected to their "curse" in the original fairytale. For example, Ariel would be able to control people with her voice (think like a Siren) or Snow White could be immune to poison. A villain would be trying to siphon their powers one by one so they can control the entire fairytale world. So they band together and search for magical items (Arthurian quest style) as a way to try to stop them. I'm thinking of this as either a mini-book series or for Kindle Vella. What do you think?
Have a great day and stay safe!
Sincerely,
Julia
