As a subscriber to my newsletter, you probably know I spent the last few years from 2017-2023 living in Thailand and Vietnam, where I started my Youtube channel, Focus-Asia Pacific (Formerly Global Trade and Global Trade Asia).
While based first in Chiang Mai, Thailand, then Danang and finally, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, I started my channel to document life in Asia, with a more of a business focus.
Living the digital nomad life: Working from a Hanoi,Vietnam cafe, 2018.
At the time, I wanted to highlight the many facets of living in Asia, including my personal experiences, the history, culture, and people I would encounter. I learned a tremendous amount in video, audio, editing, and social media creation. I made good use of my Panasonic G7, GX85, and Canon G7X cameras to capture my every move.
My wife and baby daughter at the Southwest Florida airport right before getting picked up by my parents, March 2023.
By 2023, me, my wife and baby daughter decided to move back to Florida, USA to be near my parents. After a few months of transition, I decided to delete my Focus Asia-Pacific Google Workspace account, thinking I didn’t log in and use it enough to justify the monthly hosting fee. What I totally forgot was that it was tied to my Focus-Asia Pacific Youtube channel.
Unfortunately, despite several attempts, I could not regain the channel back. Since I was also moving on from creating Asia-based content, I started a new channel with just my name so I could pivot more easily after deciding on what type of content to focus on.
Vinh Ho, my new Youtube channel, thus far, covers the economy, trade, and technology, utilizing www.InternationVinh.com as my domain.

I’ve had a tremendous amount of fun and experience in Asia, and am looking forward to re-building a base back up in the US.
Cheers from Florida!
