Introduction
I first met Bardia Bijani January 2019 during his College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University Entreprenuer Scholars (E-scholars) Vietnam field study in Ho Chi Minh City.
My former business professor Paul Marsnik invited me to join his group of students as they explored Vietnam's dynamic entreprenuerial culture, experienced its rich history, and challenged themselves in a very exotic, cosmpolitan, and fast-paced environment.
Without hesitation, I flew in from Thailand to be with my former professor, to give back to my alma mater, and to share as much knowledge and experience as I could.
Enjoying dinner downtime with the E-scholar staff.
Overlooking Ho Chi Minh City, the economic heartbeat of fast-rising Vietnam.
During that interchange, I learned that Bardia was working on manufacturing and marketing a multi-functional tool with his co-founder.
Now, fast-forward a few years, Bardia has graduated from the London School of Economics and founded FuzeQube, a social tech innovation start-up, is now visiting professor of entreprenuership at CSB/SJU where he recently helped organize and lead the same E-scholars Vietnam field study he once particiated in.
In this interview, we discuss his journey from Sweden to coming across CSB/SJJU and becoming an international student in rural, central Minnesota, his entreprenuerial journey, and his latest Vietnam journey.
