The Role of Mindset in Personal Development

Hey tribe!
Guess what? Yesterday, I attended the Moneycode Conference 2023 by DABA and listened to Ejimi Adegbeye speak about the role of mindset in achieving financial freedom. And let me tell you, it was eye-opening!
Before this, I used to think that good habits were more important than mindset in achieving success, but Ejimi's insights made me reconsider my beliefs. It's amazing how just hearing about someone's lived experience can change our perspective, right?
It reminded me of those times when people would ask me if they could make money online, and I would reply, "Are you willing to put in the work?" And they would say things like "It's not possible" or "I can't do it."
Honestly, it's almost impossible to help someone who doesn't believe in themselves. That's why I realized that mindset indeed plays a huge role in our success. If you don't believe in yourself, you won't put in your best effort. If you don’t put in your best effort, nothing can help you.
The key takeaway here is that having a healthy mindset is the first step toward success in any field. You also have to take responsibility for your own success. You can't just rely on someone else to make you successful. Even if you have the best teacher in the world to show you the way. You still have to put in the effort and believe in yourself. — I know I sound like a motivational speaker. I’m cringing as I type. 🙄 But it has to be said because it’s true.
Of course, it's okay to be skeptical and rational. But don't let disbelief in yourself hold you back from achieving your goals. Strive for a healthy mindset and watch the magic happen.
Hope this message finds you well. Talk soon!
PS: You can watch the replay of the conference here. Ejimi shared two exercise templates during his presentation — His Dream Income Analyser and the Passion Distiller. I will ask his permission to share them with my audience, so expect them in PDF format in next week’s email. 🤞🏾
