The Power of Atomic Habits

Hey tribe, ๐๐พ
This week, I'm excited to share with you some insights I gained from reading the book "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. In this book, Clear explains how small and consistent changes in our habits can lead to remarkable results in the long run. As a tech enthusiast, I couldn't help but think about how these principles could be applied to becoming a full-blown techie in just one year or less.
One person that exemplifies this principle is my favorite Jack of all trades, Ali Abdaal โ a medical doctor turned tech YouTuber, who consistently implemented small habits to become a successful content creator.
I have had my fair share of experience with life improvement through consistent, small habits. In 2019, I made a commitment to learning every day. Four years later, the skills I have acquired have remarkably improved my life. I now have a career in tech and am growing a personal brand using the knowledge I have gained over these years.
Changes that seem small and unimportant at first will compound into remarkable results if youโre willing to stick with them for yearsโฆ The quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits. โ James Clear.
Think about your goals for the year and identify consistent, small habits that will help you achieve them. If you're interested in getting into tech, check out the free courses I shared in the last newsletter to help you get started.
The lesson to take away here is that even seemingly small habits, when done consistently over time, can compound into big results. For example, committing 30 minutes a day to learning could lead to a career in one year. Or, spending just 10 minutes a day meditating could profoundly impact your mental health and well-being. So, identify the small habits that align with your goals, commit to doing them consistently, and watch as they lead to remarkable results over time.
Remember, with the same habits, you'll end up with the same results. But with better habits, anything is possible.
Until next time, stay curious and keep learning!
Best,
Viki
