I hope you've been well. So I've been MIA for some weeks now. I hope you're not upset with me. Even if you are, you won't be for much longer because I'm here now.

Let me catch you up on what's been unfolding in my world. I've been busy a lot. Work took on a demanding pace, and on top of that, I also got an influx of new clients in my business all at once. I'm a one-man business for now, so I've been juggling multiple projects alongside work. — I finally got my first government branding project hurray! 🎉

My thirst for learning hasn't waned; I've been making time for online courses, as always.

I've been so busy that my birthday happened and I didn't even prepare for it. It was on the 14th of August. — I'm still accepting presents so it’s not too late to send in yours.

On the not-so-bright side (edit: now very dark side), my cat got sick. He almost died. — Yes, I call my cat "he" and not "it."

If you follow me on socials or know me personally, then you know how much I love my cat. His name is Skye. I've got quite an attachment to the little guy. He's been my companion for over three years, and his well-being means a whole lot to me.

Anyway, he got a urinary tract infection which caused an inflammation, which led to bladder stones. He had to be operated on to get his bladder drained and the stones dissolved. He's in recovery now, thank God.

Edit: Skye reclined and passed away yesterday. I’m beyond heartbroken. 💔

So, that's a snapshot of why I've been absent. Beyond the challenges, I've also been incubating a new business. But for now, it's on pause until I can refocus. — I'll tell you about it later.

For now, this is me showing up and saying "Your girl is still here, and hoping to get some free time soon so I can get back to cooking helpful content for you!" ✌🏾
