Hello from Wales
Life as always is crazy. Jennifer turns 13 at the end of the month, and for her birthday, she wants her bedroom redecorated. We have therefore been shopping for furniture, paint etc, and she has been busy making Pinterest boards full of design ideas.
I'll be sad to see her room change, but the last time we decorated it was just after she turned 7 (picture is of 7 year old Jennifer holding Lily next to her underwater feature wall). She's due a new look. It just makes me feel like she is growing up far too quickly.
Writing wise, I am busy working on the last Eira Snow book, and hope to have it out at the end of the month. I have decided to wrap up the series in this book and pull the pre-order for book 7. My brain needs new characters to work on :)
Going forward, I plan to stop doing pre-orders. I also plan on working on a few series at a time to keep my brain from wanting to jump to the next shiny new thing and making it hard for me to concentrate on one series. I have also been hearing about authors who release their books on various vendors: Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Google Play, Kobo, and Kindle for a couple of weeks before pulling them and placing them in Kindle Unlimited. I would love to hear your thoughts on this idea. It might be something worth trying.
