I said no to N25million

Hey there

If there's anything I'm learning right now...

It's this:

What got you here, won't get you there

Whatever here and there means for you...

The point is...

Different results mean...

Different...

Thinking...

Communication...

And behavior.

The trick is to do it from the target...

Rather than towards it.

Tonight at IST...

We'll hosting our second Quantum Leap Session...

And that's exactly what we're going to be focused on.

The difference that often make the difference is...

Filtering everything that no longer fits the results you want...

And then maintaining a high level of accountability...

Especially when it comes to no longer doing the things that don't fit any more.

Yesterday...

I reconnected with a former client of mine...

Last time I spoke to her..

2012...

Back then she ended our working relationship because...

"It's too hard"

Fast forward to yesterday...

She said it was now time and she needed me back in her life...

The problem?

She was stuck...

Even though she'd done pretty well for herself...

Unfortunately...

Now the kind of relationship she wants is a N40million a year investment.

Compared to the N30,000 a month back in 2012.

The difference isn't really about the investment required to work with me....

The difference is the future that I am committed to and the standards that I am now holding myself too.

Anyways...

After giving her a favorable exchange rate...

We settled for N37.5m

As I prep to leave...

Her final remarks were "You've come a very long way"

I laughed...

I understood what she meant but truth be told...

I haven't come a long way.

Truth is...

I jumped several times to get here.

I'm all set to make another jump...

And you can too.

But you need to be uber accountable to a bigger better future...

And make saying no to anything that doesn't fit in the future...

A deliberate habit...

No matter the cost.

Till tomorrow...

Get out of your own way.
